History

A bit of history for those interested...

The Quick-Fix story begins nearly 20 years ago when dealer principal Gavin Walker started a one-man Harley-Davidson® repair shop in his backyard.

Harleys were relatively rare then and people able to work on them confidently confined to the cities. Gavin became the one-stop shop in his home region (Mildura, Victoria, Australia) for the American marque, repairing and hotting them up for a growing list of owners.

To cut a long story short, the business expanded rapidly and Gavin was soon looking for a shopfront. A Harley-Davidson® dealership was duely awarded him and as the Evolution® models arrived ownership numbers soared.

Never one to sit still (and being a true motorcyclist enthusiast) he began looking around for other makes that needed a good home. An opportunity arose to take on the Honda Motorcycles and Marine dealerships soon after. Then then the KTM franchise was added, allowing Gavin to grow his operation from a small, one brand only workshop to the impressive complex the company boasts now at 45 7th Street East, Mildura, Victoria, Australia.

Today we not only sell and service motorcycles and outboards, we are also the distributors for a number of ATV accessories including canopies, cruise controls and spray units.

Quick-Fix is constantly developing new ATV innovations for the agricultural market and the long-term aim is to export our products world wide.

The staff are all motorcyclists, experienced in their fields. All have an extensive riding backgrounds and experience, being active in motocross, enduros, drag racing and road racing.

When we can find the time between our hectic work and sport schedules we like to relax with a cool can or two. So,if you are ever in our area, drop in for a beer or a chat....or both!
